Just for you

"I will miss you" "Please stay in touch" "What will I do without you" "I love you so much" "Don't forget to invite me in your marriage" "We will meet sometime in future" "I wish we could stay in the same city"......

Some or the other sentences were used by us (all my friends) in last few days of college/school. But when I think over it, I feel, I am not in touch with many of my good friends. Unfortunately, promises were not kept for many. I don't know the exact reason but I guess everyone is so busy in their own life that they don't get time to meet or talk or text their very own friend of past.

Ohh thanks to facebook/whatsapp for allowing me to "stay in touch"  (not more than 10% of the list) . But when it comes to meeting old friends in person, the %age will drop down to less than 1% . In technical terms, friends are like elements in our life queue. The older one gets out of the queue with time and newer keeps on joining. I wish I could increase my queue size to stay in touch with all my friends at a given time. I know it sounds geeky but true. I so much wish to meet each and every one of you in person and relive all moments.

At every stage of life, I used to think I will never lose contact with my friends but then I realised even the beautiful swan decays and so is the friendship. May be it's not true in your case but I have experienced this a lot. The one's who were very close to me are the one's who never exchange a word with me.
I wish I could meet and enjoy with all my friends as before. Change is the law of nature but I hate the distance in beautiful relationship, i.e, friendship.
On a serious note, I love you and I miss you (Yeah...You are right..! Each and every one of you my dear friend). Looking forward to see you soon. I am sure you will make an effort for our contact as well. :)
